FAQ

Got questions?

Do I need any experience?

Not at all! Our beginner class starts from scratch. You will be guided through every step — no dance background needed.

What should I wear?

Comfortable clothes and shoes you can move in. Smooth-soled shoes work best on the floor — avoid sticky rubber soles if you can.

Do I need a partner?

No! Line dancing is danced solo in rows, so there is no partner required. Come on your own or bring friends — either way you will have a great time.

Can I just turn up on the night?

Absolutely. No booking is required — just show up at Tawa Scout Hall before class starts (6:30 PM Friday or 1:00 PM Sunday) and pay on the door.

How do I pay?

You can pay cash on the night or by bank transfer beforehand. See the pricing section for bank details.
